على بعد ساعتين وربع من العاصة مسقط بإتجاه ولاية الحمراء تقع ما تم تسميته ب جاند كانيون عمان وهي قرية مسفاة العبريين اللتي تعد من أقدم القرى العُمانية في المنطقة. تم استيطانها في فترة ما قبل الإسلام من قبل الفرس وذلك بسبب مكانها الإستراتيجي الواقع على إرتفاع 1000 متر عن سطح البحر وسط جبال الحمراء

لمسفاة العبريين خصوصية كبيرة عند العمانيين حيث تم تصنيفها من قبل منظمة السياحة العالمية كواحده من أفضل 10 قرى سياحية لعام 2021

تتميز مسفاة العبريين بنمط البناء الفريد المكون من الحجارة والطين والصاروج بالإضافة لفلج الماء العيني اللذي يتخلل جميع المساحات الزراعية فيها تاركا قرية المسفاة مكتسية باللون الأخضر طوال العام

كما تشتهر مسفاة العبريين بإنتاجها الغزير للتمور والمناجا والرعسل الجبلي وبعض ظانواع الحمضيات

ما يميز قرية المسفاة أيضا أن سكانها والبالغ عددهم من 800- 900 نسمهأنهم ما يزالون يقطنون في بيوت أجدادهم القديمة رافضين ما أتاحه التطور المدني من حولهم، كما أن بعض الشباب إرت}ا بتحويل جزء كبير من بوت المسفاة القديمة بعد ترميمها إلى نزل سياحة تستقبل عدد لابأس به من السياح الداخليين والخارجيين يوما، حيث يقدر معدل عدد السياح فيها قرابة ال 700 سائح يوميا

2:15 hr driving from Muscat towards Al Hamra governance located the ancient village of Misfah al Abriyyin. It was inhabited in the pre-Islamic period by the Persians because of its strategic location at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level.

Misfat Al Abriyeen was classified by the World Tourism Organization as one of the top 10 tourist villages for 2021.

what make it special is the unique construction style consisting of stones, mud, and Sarooj, in addition to the spring water falaj, which permeates all the agricultural areas in it, leaving the village covered in a green color throughout the year.

Misfat Al Abriyyin is also famous for its abundant production of dates, Mango, mountain honey and plenty types of citrus.

What make it very unique as well that the village of Al-Misfah also its residents 800-900 people that are still living in the old houses of their ancestors, rejecting what was made possible by the civil development around them. a remarkable number of internal and external tourists every day visiting the village.
