SPERMBIRDS are Germany’s most consistent and biggest hardcore punk band. Their debut “Something To Prove”, released in 1986, is rightly regarded as a full classic. 24 years later, the band is still held in high esteem, we listen to 14 new tracks. Punk meets rocking sounds, but with a bigger variety and some ‘modern’ influences. Singer Lee Hollis shows top form, his finest lyrics to date: sarcastic and black humoured, but with a more personal reference this time. To keep it short and simple: Spermbirds are back to the roots, with massive power and great song writing in perfect production.
