I started to take my love for makeup public at the @NARS Cosmetics counter, where I shared and exchanged my love of beauty through Nars products. Safe to say I knew them extraordinarily well, having excessive amounts of Nars specific makeup (and enjoying gratis & the employee discount!) Ultimately though, my favorite part of being a make up artist were the people. The products were only really one part of the story, and they still are. Even though I’m usually talking about products, I’m always trying to educate you all to help you make the most informed beauty decisions for you. Sometimes that’s going to talk about the product, the marketing, formula, packaging, the development, artistry… you get the point. This is a new approach to beauty on TikTok, and it’s certainly hard to be different. You’re going to get opinions about who you are, and your credibility is going to be questioned. Even with all the experience, you always continue to learn and grow. I do work regularly alongside talented beauty industry insiders who always challenege and teach me new things, as I do for them. Beauty is always evolving.
