SOLIDWORKS Plastics: Simulation Setup Guide

Описание к видео SOLIDWORKS Plastics: Simulation Setup Guide

Learn how to setup a basic mold filling analysis using SOLIDWORKS Plastics 2021. In this video we will run the Flow or Fill portion of the molding cycle to predict the mold fill of a plastic bezel.

Note that the 2020 and 2021 versions of SOLIDWORKS Plastics received significant user interface enhancements. The process for older versions will be a similar workflow but with a substantially different user interface.

SOLIDWORKS Plastics Standard allows the prediction of common molding defects such as short shots / partial fills and knit lines / weld lines. It also enables quickly testing different variations of the geometry through configurations, testing different polymers, and predicting performance of different gate or injection locations and clamp tonnage required.
