This vlog captures one of the most unforgettable and challenging travel days of our Delhi to Ladakh road trip. We had reached Jammu the previous night with big plans to continue towards Sonamarg and then further to Ladakh. But nature had something very different in store for us…

The morning started with relentless heavy rainfall. The rain was so strong that it felt impossible to step out of our hotel. Streets were flooded, visibility was low, and we were left wondering whether our journey forward would even be possible.

With determination, we planned to proceed towards Sonamarg — but fate stopped us. Massive landslides had occurred on the route, blocking the highways and stranding countless vehicles. Mountain roads in this season are unpredictable, and the sheer scale of these landslides was overwhelming.

As if that wasn’t enough, shocking news spread across Jammu — the Fourth Tawi Bridge collapsed due to the swelling waters of the Tawi river. The visuals were terrifying: vehicles stuck, a car narrowly escaping, and chaos all around. It was a reminder of how powerful nature can be.

Thanks to the efforts of government officials and rescue teams, we somehow managed to escape Jammu amidst all the destruction. Their guidance and support helped us find a way out when everything seemed blocked.

We thought the worst was behind us — but destiny had one more twist waiting. After crossing a huge tunnel on the way forward, we were caught in a five-car collision. In a split second, multiple cars crashed one after another. All vehicles, including ours, were damaged. The shock of the accident left us shaken, and that’s where today’s vlog comes to an end.

This day taught us that travel isn’t just about destinations — it’s about experiences, both good and bad, that stay with us forever. The road to Ladakh is never easy, but it’s these stories of survival, courage, and unexpected challenges that make the journey memorable.
