How To Crochet A Ball/How To Crochet A Circle/ Increasing and Decreasing stitches

Easy Step-by-step instructions on how to crochet a circle, ball, and sphere for beginners. Zoomed in views, slow instruction, easy to follow video includes the difference between the Magic Ring v.s. a Chain 2 Double Back to begin a circle. The different ways to end one round and begin another. How to count your rounds. Video goes over terminology such as what an Increase is, Decrease, what a sc2tog means. You will see how these words are used in a pattern and know how to manipulate a pattern to make the circle or ball as big or as small as you want and how to elongate the circle into a cylinder. Materials:
-Any Yarn (I recommend you using a 4 weight non-textured yarn to begin with
while you're practicing. It is easiest to work with and is good for
visibility in what you are doing)
-Any Crochet Hook (with a 4 weighted yarn I recommend using a crochet
hook size F, G, H as these work great with this yarn type
and provide a tighter stitch to help maintain shape and
keep stuffing inside. You can always refer to the yarn
label to see the hook recommendation size. For a ball or
stuffed animal I tend to go down 2 or more hook sizes
from the recommendation to make the stitches tighter
as it is important to have tight stitches to keep the
stuffing inside.)
-Stuffing (You could use Poly-Fil, or plastic beads, or rice, or beans)
-Scissors
