The workshop build continues — and this time we finally have two handmade sliding barn doors (almost) ready to install.

Before mounting them, we still need to trim them to final size, sand them smooth, and add a protective finish. But first, the outside siding has to be finished… because apparently projects inside projects are just how this build works now.

While the doors are on hold, we start building one of the most important parts of the workshop: a custom tall workbench designed for actual human backs (especially tall ones like ours). This thing is built from reclaimed deck beams and pallet wood — including wood from the same pallets that became the doors.

Nothing goes to waste. Except maybe our energy.

This shed is slowly transforming into a real, functional woodworking workshop — one project, one mistake, and one dramatic dad moment at a time.
