Definition:
Lost Communication With Throttle Actuator Control Module
Description:
One of these 2 conditions must be met for at least 250 milliseconds: (1) No serial signals from the throttle actuator control module are detected.(2) The serial signals from the throttle actuator control module are abnormal.NOTE: Before you troubleshoot,record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause:
Poor connections or loose terminals at the throttle body,the throttle actuator control module relay,the throttle actuator control module,and the PCM "Open" in the wire between the PCM and ground "Open" or "Short" circuit between the throttle actuator control module and the PCM PCM may need to be updated with the latest software Faulty PCM
Failure Type:
Circuit Short To Ground
This sub type is used for failures, where the control module measures ground (battery negative) potential for greater than a specified time period or when some other value is expected.
