Starmer talks tough on migration and vows closer ties with Europe

The new prime minister has vowed to work with Europe to stem illegal migration.

Speaking at a European summit in Blenheim Palace, Sir Keir Starmer said he was seeking a "reset" with Europe following Brexit.

He also told Ukraine's president Zelenskyy Britain would stand by Kyiv in its war with Russia.
