The Association for Neighborhood and Housing Development and the Urban Design Forum joined forces to present Power After the Pandemic: Rebuilding our Post-Covid Cities. Over the coming months, we will convene civic leaders across the nation to reimagine a path toward a just recovery in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

For our second Power After the Pandemic dialogue, Kerry McLean (WHEDco), New York State Senator James Sanders, and Paulina Gonzalez-Brito (Executive Director of California Reinvestment Coalition) discussed the future of community finance and community development after COVID-19.

We asked: How can we shape community investment programs to meet the needs of today’s crisis? How can we leverage existing tools, and create new tools and policies to hold banks accountable, achieve fair and equitable lending?
