Putin, Xi Vow To Protect Russia-China "Legitimate Rights", Take Aim At Western "Blocs" | SCO Summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping met on the sidelines of the SCO summit in the Kazakh capital of Astana. President Vladimir Putin told Chinese leader Xi Jinping that relations between Beijing and Moscow were stronger than ever before. Putin hailed the group as "strengthening its role as one of the key pillars of a fair multipolar world order" in opening remarks of a meeting with Xi. Meanwhile, the Russian President also met with Turkish counterpart to discuss bilateral and important issues of the international politics. Trade between Turkey and Russia could reach $100 billion, President Erdogan told Putin.
