Grieving My Autism Diagnosis and Finding New Hope

In response to your comments, today I'm sharing some of the ups and downs I experienced after receiving my autism diagnosis at the age of 31. It was a tough video to shoot! Tougher than I planned... but I 'm glad I did. I can feel the heartache in some of your stories and I want you to know you're not alone. I hope you'll stick with me until the end of the video. I'm Tay, a married mom of 2 who was diagnosed with Autism at 31 years old. This was after YEARS of therapy (and all of the self tests in the world!). My diagnosis has brought up questions, frustration, doubt, but most importantly, a new level of self compassion and understanding.
