Brass shay that I blasted and painted ,also installed Tsunami2 steam decoder , two speakers , and a keep alive. This is a proto 48 model , so the wheel flanges are small and it is gauged for true scale track gauging and not Lionel's toy 5 foot gauge. So the shay dose not really sit properly on the track , one side is on the rails , and the other sits between the side gear and wheel . The Lionel track is to wide and its curved rail is meant for deep flanged wheels not proto 48 so shay is not as smooth running as it should be partially running on the side gears , but well enough for decoder set up.
