While out and about I went to Farmfoods and Aldi and bought these 2 products ! So what were they like ?
The Mayflower Beef Curry was very good and the Curry sauce was very nice and had an Authentic Chinese Taste - The Beef was tender - overall it was a decent product from mayflower I would buy it again and I can recommend it to you - I score this 8 out of 10 .
The Egg Fried Rice from worldwide foods was nice as well and had a really nice flavour for me personally the rice was a tad tough but at £0.45p I should not complain about that - I would buy this again but would do it on the hob rather than the microwave to see if it makes any difference - I can also recommend this and I score it 7 out of 10 - When you consider the amount of food for the overall price of £2.34p this is a really good meal ! the takeaways round here for the same meal vary between £8.50 and £10.90 so for me this is a no brainer and in these difficult times where families are struggling to make ends meet shops like Farmfoods ,Aldi ,Heron Foods etc help to relieve some of the stress of day to day living !
