Here we have the pedal profile video for the Mosky B-Box preamp pedal. This may or may not be influenced by another preamp pedal with 4 knobs. My initial reaction was that this has a lot of gain on tap, which makes sense, since it's toted as a preamp, however, the gain doesn't really change a whole lot from the middle position to the full on position. Anyway, a cool pedal, very usable, depending on what you're looking for. Could be one of those always on pedals to try and capture and amp type feel. It did clean up nicely with the gain down, so I bet it would also clean up with the volume knob on the guitar.

Following along with the idea of goals for the new year that I mentioned last week, so far, every single day I have managed my 10 minutes on the drum set. Yesterday (Jan 8) was the first day that playing actually felt natural, so that was a nice step. I have also managed to get in my 10 minutes every day on the bike trainer, which is aiding in my Achilles recovery. I'm writing down my guitar playing time as well, as suggested by Mark from 8 Minute Axe (he's awesome, check him out), but I generally play more than 10 minutes of guitar per day anyway.
