Hell's -a- Roarin' Horse Drive outside Yellowstone 2018

Hell's-a-Roarin' Outfitters runs horses through Gardiner, Montana every year for a fundraiser. Jeremiah Johnson (The mounted cowboy in red near the beginning) said they had 150 head of horses running free, and 50 horses mounted by cowboys. "200 head" in all.
Sorry it was so shaky between :40 and :44- Somewhere in there a horse or 2 actually bumped into our car!

We are seated on the back of the car- up off the ground, but right in the action.

Definitely the wildest horse run I've seen yet from these guys.

This horse drive is by far the most incredible fundraiser I've ever attended. They then have dinner and dancing and multiple other activities up at the ranch the rest of the day.
FYI The horses are driven from the rodeo grounds on the "far" side of town through main street and up Jardine Road (where we are).
However, the horses continue to run the winding roads all the way up the mountain to their home at Hell's-a-Roarin'.

It's great fun. It's worth visiting Yellowstone on Memorial Day Weekend every year just for this event!!
