Homewrecker: from crusty hardcore to death metal punks on 'Hell Is Here Now' | Aggressive Tendencies

Описание к видео Homewrecker: from crusty hardcore to death metal punks on 'Hell Is Here Now' | Aggressive Tendencies

Homewrecker guitarist/vocalist Matt Barnum explains the band's evolution from a crusty hardcore sound on 'Worms and Dirt,' through the increasingly metal sounds of 'Circle of Death' and 'Extinction By Design,' to the realization of their death metal punk sound on 'Hell Is Here Now.' He discusses losing vocalist Ryan Sposito, how he and drummer/vocalist Matt Izzi took over, and how the two differentiate their sounds. He talks about the lyrical themes of new songs like "Bound By Validation" and "Land of the Damned," as well as their steady growth as a band. Interview filmed when the band were at Toronto's Coalition on May 12, 2018, just ahead of their tour with The Black Dahlia Murder.
