Noted author Arundhati Roy will be prosecuted under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) for a 'provocative' speech she delivered at an event in 2010, the officials of the Delhi LG Office said. The FIR against Roy and former Central University of Kashmir professor Sheikh Showkat Hussain was registered based on the orders of the Court of Metropolitan Magistrate, New Delhi.
