This was my homage to the ‘Sammo Hung vs Lau Kar Leung staff fight' from “Pedicab Driver.” We shot the staff fight over the course of 3 days. Each day was 104+ degrees F. Unfortunately we never finished the entire project because of scheduling - Brendon was supposed to fight Micah after his fight with Jimmy. i couldn’t be more proud of the final product that is the fight. Brendon and Jimmy are the only two people that i know of that could’ve pulled off the intense choreography they came up with...as well as my whacky ideas.
