Equestrian Camping Trip to A.H. Stephens

We love that GA has some amazing state parks that include equestrian facilities! Check out A.H. Stephens.

Brenden booked us a couple day trip at the Equestrian Facility & a cabin. (The dog friendly one, of course)

They have Two barns, Large spacious stalls, Wash rack area, & 21 miles of well manicured trails! These trails were nice with wide paths most of the time, mild to moderate hills. Making this the perfect place for Amarillo's 4th & 5th trail ride.

We started on the Red trail in the morning that was 3.5 miles - very easy nice wide trails, minimal hills.

In the afternoon, we rode the red to orange ~7 miles. The orange has a bit more ups and downs, nothing major.
*Our horses are barefoot and did fine

We love this park has cabins! Since we don't have a living quarter trailer (yet, its a goal) it's nice to have a comfortable place to stay, These cabins were walking distance from the stables! Added Bonus! (Just make sure to bring your own comforter/blanket) They have a full kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms with 4 beds and shared bath.

Be prepared to unplug! There is no WiFi and minimal cell service, just how camping should be!

I couldn't have been more proud of my mustang boys. They did great the entire trip! Best Birthday present I could have asked for.
