Mario Kart 64 🎮 Star Cup 50cc 🏁

Welcome to my walkthrough series of Mario Kart 64! In this playthrough, I will cover the gameplay of all the Mario Kart 64 Cups including Extra Cup (Mirror Mode): Mushroom Cup, Flower Cup, Star Cup, Special Cup in 50cc, 100cc, 150cc! I really hope you enjoy this Mario Kart 64 no commentary series.

📝 Mario Kart 64 (Japanese: マリオカート64 Mariokāto 64) (マリオカー 64 Mario Kāto Rokujūyon) often abbreviated as MK64, is the second installment in the Mario Kart series, being the first in the series to use 3D graphics. It was released in 1996 for the Nintendo 64, and later in 2007 for the Virtual Console. Mario Kart 64 features many changes from the previous game, such as new characters and items.

The Star Cup is the third cup in every Mario Kart series game to date (except for Mario Kart: Super Circuit, in which it is the fourth), but the tracks vary in each game.

Up until Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Star Cup was a standard cup. Since then, it has been unlockable. Star Cup can be unlocked by placing in Grand Prix in Flower Cup. Star Cup has always been needed to unlock Special Cup. It consists on the following tracks:

✅ Wario Stadium is the name of the premier course of Mario Kart 64's Star Cup and is one of the biggest courses of that game, second only to Rainbow Road. It features a jump that dictates that it be done properly or the player be put back about a quarter of the way back, which usually means the difference between first place and trailing behind all other competitors.

✅ Sherbet Land is the second course in the Star Cup appearing in Mario Kart 64. It comes after Wario Stadium, but before Royal Raceway.

The first part of it has ice everywhere, and makes it a slight bit harder for the player to control his/her character. To make it trickier, all throughout the whole entire course, penguins walk or slide around. If these penguins are hit, the character will slip out and will slow him/her down. A little more than half of the course is in the open and icy, while the rest of it is in a cave, being a little more snowy. The course also has water, which the player can accidentally fall into and have to be put back on the track by Lakitu.

✅ Royal Raceway (Peach Circuit in Japan) is the third course in Star Cup of Mario Kart 64 and the second course in the Banana Cup of Mario Kart 8. It is Princess Peach's course, because the word "royal" actually means Princess Peach. The course takes place around a big lake, making it easy for the player to fall in. There is a huge jump over the lake in a section of the lake. If the character goes off track after the jump, they can see and go around Princess Peach's Castle as it is seen in Super Mario 64.

The Award Ceremony also takes place here, in front of Princess Peach's Castle.

✅ Bowser's Castle or Castle Koopa is the capital of Bowser's Kingdom. It is Bowser's home and has very different castles, depending on which game is it. It is also where Bowser keeps Princess Peach after he kidnaps her.

the track is covered with angry Thwomps and lava. Half of the course is outside the castle, while half of it is inside. It is also the only solo Bowser Castle to not be in the Special Cup. This course reappears as a retro course in Mario Kart Wii, and it is the final track in the Lightning Cup.
