ACIAR launches One Health Program

Human health is connected to the health of the planet and its animals. We must take a holistic approach to health and look at the big picture to reduce the growing rate of zoonotic diseases across South-East Asia and the Pacific.

Today we officially launch our new One Health program with the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade's Indo-Pacific Centre for Health Security.

Our program is working with the likes of the CSIRO, Menzies School of Health Research, Nossal Institute for Global Health at The University of Melbourne and the Burnet Institute to develop and share knowledge about zoonotic diseases and help prevent the next pandemic.
