This video spotlights a recent client project where I used several features available in Microsoft Excel to automate the workflow. The file contains three worksheets based on information input into a meal plan created for personal training clients.

The features that help automate the workflow include dependent dropdowns, lookups, and formulas to eliminate manual data entry. It also includes passing values from the input form to the other sheets in order to eliminate duplicate steps. There are buttons that link to each sheet to enhance the user experience as well.

However, the star of the show in this file is a set of macros that automate the export of each of the worksheets to a PDF to a hard coded file directory and the option to pre-attach two of the PDFs to an Outlook email to send to a recipient.

This is not a tutorial. Simply a client project spotlight to demonstrate what is possible with Excel beyond the conventional spreasheet idea.
