Welcome to our CRUD series on how to manipulate data in a MySQL database using NodeJS and ejs templates. In this video, we will be demonstrating how to delete data from our database.

Deleting data from a database is an important task when building applications, and it's essential to have a solid understanding of how to do it correctly. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps of deleting data from a MySQL database using NodeJS and the ejs templating engine.

To begin, you will need to have a database set up with at least one table containing some data. If you don't already have a database set up, you can check out our previous tutorial on how to create a database and insert data.

Once you have your database set up, you will need to establish a connection to it using NodeJS. You can do this using the MySQL module, which is a popular NodeJS library for working with MySQL databases.

Once you have established a connection to your database, you can then use a SQL DELETE statement to remove the data from your table. The DELETE statement allows you to specify which rows you want to delete based on certain conditions.

In this tutorial, we will be using ejs templates to render the data from our database on a web page. Ejs is a popular templating engine for NodeJS, and it allows you to embed JavaScript code in your HTML pages to display dynamic content.

By the end of this tutorial, you should have a solid understanding of how to delete data from a MySQL database using NodeJS and ejs templates.
