For more than seven decades, U.S. Pacific Command and her components have promoted stability and security throughout the Indo-Pacific region.

Among seven of America’s collective defense treaties, five exists in the PACOM area of responsibility. America has mutual defense treaty alliances with: The Philippines since 1951; Australia since 1951; The Republic of Korea since 1953; Thailand since 1954; Japan since 1960.

PACOM remains ready to defend the homeland and fight tonight while maintaining her commitment to all of America's allies and partners throughout the region.
