I WAS underwhelmed by this product until I figured out the work arounds so that I can use it with my ios devices as well as use with my guitar or insruments that use a 1/4 inch plug.
For the little money this will run. you I do think it's pretty cool. when it was first sent to me there was only one video on youtube . Now there are several. Anyway LIVE and Learn. Glad it is useful after all!

The folks at Synido asked me to unbox and demo their newest offering. It was a love/hate relationship from the beginning but I'm happy to report after a rocky start that I can and will be able to utilize this device in my set up.
The problem was two fold as you will see in the video / they provided the wrong adapter for use with instrument cables AND they have only a usb c cord to connect only to new ios devices. I only have one device that has usbc and that is my 4 year old macbook pro. SO at first I expressed disappointment that i would be unable to demonstrate it with my primary modes of recording: my 3 year old iPhone 13Pro and my 8 year old iPad Pro as both of the. use the lightning port.

However after editing and almost releasing the whole video Synido told me an adapter should work.
I bought it on amazon ( it has to be a female usbc to male lightning adapter) and when I plugged it into my iPad it worked perfectly and then I even did a quick video by attaching it to the lightning port of my phone and recorded by acoustic guitar. I added that last video to the end of this video.
Now I can see what an inexpensive useful device this is.
