Assessing the Portfolio of Strategies to Address Climate Change: Legislative, Legal, Regulatory, and Diplomatic

Climate change is a serious global phenomenon that has become a top priority for the world to tackle. Most people agree on the general problem, but not the solutions. Governments, businesses, non-governmental organizations, and private individuals have advocated for a wide variety of strategies, including legislation, litigation, regulation, and diplomatic agreements. Local, national and international politics often skew perceptions of which strategies may have promise, and which are unlikely to prove valuable in the long run. A panel of experts debated these various approaches for tackling climate change, offering their thoughts on which strategies should continue to be the focal point for these global efforts and which ideas are better off being avoided.
