📖 Origin & Significance
This mantra is rooted in the Shri Suktam of the Rig Veda — one of the oldest and most sacred hymns in Vedic literature, dedicated entirely to Goddess Lakshmi. The word Lakshmi comes from the Sanskrit root "Laksha" meaning "to perceive, to observe, and to achieve a goal" — she is not merely the goddess of money but the goddess of purposeful, righteous abundance. She is depicted seated on a lotus, holding lotus flowers, and pouring gold coins — symbolizing that her blessings flow naturally to those with a pure heart and focused intention.
