Back in her high school days, Luca’s mom happened to be friends with an aspiring ragtime composer, by the name of Jonathan Riehl. Among the other things, he had the privilege of being mentored by the legendary Johnny Maddox (!)
While rummaging through all the piano sheets in our house, along with one other composition by Riehl that was unfortunately missing a page or two, Luca found this unusual piece that immediately captivated his interest.
