I know a lot of people set up the sidepads differently. I’m not saying this is the best way, this is only how I personally like my pads. Setting up this way keeps my feet in the same place on the pedals during extremely rough situations and gives me immediate response in the air to correct any spinup. Hopefully you pick up some helpful info from the upload.
I used to think using the paper between the Velcro was a neat trick but I always seem to move my pads when removing the paper. I think that getting it as close as you can, outlining with paint and adjust as necessary with the paint as a reference has givin me the least frustration.
