FOR A BETTER TAX SYSTEM

MATERIALS REQUIRED

*A stonking parliamentary majority

STEPS:
1) Reduce or remove tax concessions so passive income and gains from wealth are taxed at similar rates to income from work.

2) Better share Australia’s wealth so younger people, no matter who their parents are, have an equal opportunity for success.

3) Prevent the share of tax collected from younger workers from growing unfairly.

4) Better support people trying to set up their lives or helping others, including students, entrepreneurs, new parents, carers and the under- and unemployed.

5) Repair government budgets so we can invest in the services we rely on and withstand future economic shocks.

FOR A CURVY BENCH SEAT

MATERIALS REQUIRED
*15 or 18mm plywood for the top (the higher the quality, the better)
*3mm plywood for the sides
*70mm X 35mm framing timber
*Lots of screws
*A kettle
*Drill, jigsaw, drop saw

STEPS:
1) Cut plywood for the top to size, and lay them out on the ground

2) Construct a bench frame using the framing timber to fit top, around 400mm high, leaving a gap for the corners.

3) Construct corners by using short lengths of framing timber, rotating slightly for curve and screw together.

4) Cut 3mm plywood into lenghts and screw onto the frame side.

5) For the corners, pour boiling water on the 3mm ply and leave for 2 minutes. This helps ply bend to shape. Screw onto frame.

6) Screw the top on
