A couple of weeks ago I got hold of a FlightScope Mevo Plus and I’ve been enjoying using it in my backyard practice net, but I’m interested to see how accurate the numbers are compared to hitting balls outdoors on the driving range.

I took the Mevo Plus to my local driving range to hit balls, collect data such as carry distance and clubhead speed, then compared the numbers to those I get hitting golf balls in the net.

Straight away, I’m still learning my way with the flightscope and all of the various data points it provides, but what interests me the most is if I can trust the numbers in the net and the shop shape, so I can be confident time spent practicing my golf at home is as valuable as time spent on the driving range.
