Have you ever felt disappointed by your holiday experience, because of misleading travel informations? You had an unpleasant surprise, finding out that your accommodation, looks completely different than expected, quality of amenities is far from what was promised, the atmosphere of the local area leaves a lot to be desired… Needless to say, these unwelcome surprises, can often take all the joy out of your trip.

As an avid traveller, I also had my highs and lows and realised many negative experiences, that could be prevented, if only I could have a look at the place, before making the journey… which is how the idea for this project was born.

After a decade of working with photo and video virtual tours, I wanted to combine my passion for travelling and presenting great travel experiences, into a digital solution, which can make a difference and truly help people to plan the perfect trip.

VR4Holiday.com is a virtual reality platform, designed to give travellers a realistic overview of their chosen destinations, including accommodation, local amenities and travel attractions, using your own Smartphone or Virtual Reality Glasses.

By providing high-quality video footage, accompanied with detailed information, and also voiceover, VR4Holiday.com gives users a perfect opportunity to explore, to spot important details and get the first taste of the local atmosphere.

At present, online visitors can access videos of destinations, accommodation facilities, shopping venues, popular historical landmarks and tourist attractions. In terms of geography, for the moment, our portfolio covers Transylvania, Italy, Turkey, Greece, România and North Cyprus, to which we want to add many other very interesting destinations.

My aim is to keep improving and developing the site, by adding new videos and featuring a greater variety of destinations, especially those secret travel attractions, located off the beaten path. VR4Holiday.com Travel Platform, will be a go-to place, for those who love discovering hidden gems and want to experience something different, as well as travellers who like to stay well-informed and ‘try before they buy’.

Turning this plan into reality, will require a lot of travelling and the proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover a part of the expenses. Besides filming new destinations and venues, I will continue on building commercial partnerships with hotels, travel agencies and providers of services for tourists, in order to negotiate exclusive deals and discounts for all the travellers around the world.
