ebikes and batteries are getting harder to purchase in some places, like NY.

Because of public safety concerns after several deadly and costly fires, the Governor stepped in and now you cannot get either unless UL listed. Safety first and that's not a bad thing.

But what if you want an ebike or eMTB from Walmart or Amazon? Probably not likely because they are all Chinese and they tend not to get certifications.

If you're looking for a new battery - there might be something you can do like... using a powertool battery!

Yep, it can work - I make my Martin East Peak mountain bike, into a Frankenstein monster bike.
