The new STIHL FUNCTION Active safety boots offer chainsaw users a comfortable, waterproof and durable boot with class 1 cut protection. Available in sizes 5 to 13.5, the FUNCTION Active chainsaw safety boot has a comfortable, wide fit and plenty of padding for greater comfort.

Safety boots with chainsaw class 1 cut protection contain the same protective material found in chainsaw trousers along the front portion of the boot. The construction of the STIHL FUNCTION Active boot combines hard wearing suede leather and a waterproof and breathable membrane. The material of the sole extends around the boot as well as over the toe for additional durability and resistance to wear.

Thanks to the deep 5 millimetre tread, the STIHL FUNCTION Active safety boot provides excellent grip even in wet and muddy work environments. The specially designed sole centre bar aims to increase stability when treading on branches or small trunks.

The height of the boot provides extra stability and support when walking on challenging terrain, protecting the wearer’s ankles. The mid-sole features a steel layer, increasing the boot’s puncture resistance. This, along with the steel toe cap ensures the boot complies with Protection Class S3. The large tab at the rear and the tongue help to make taking the safety boot on and off easier, even when wearing gloves.
