July 11, 2024: The Lion King was my favorite Disney movie growing up. When I was a kid, I had a treasured Simba plush. Dad put Simba in the wash and then the dryer at high heat, and Simba's came out with a literal afro! Seriously, no joke! hahaha.. We kept it for a long time though. And that's a good memory. Fast forward a bit, and Simba shows up again as my favorite summon in Kingdom Hearts. And fast forward some more to after my cover of Elton John's "Someday Out of the Blue" to just a bit earlier this week, and I am surprised it's the 30th Anniversary of the Lion King. Well, I already have a Disney Lion King shirt and a Disney 100 Simba - so it's go time on the piano and the mic!

Oh wait.... is there a Mufasa movie coming out soon? And will I do a cover of a certain song from the Lion King 2 even sooner than that? Please like/share/comment/subscribe to stay tuned!
