Today a big dream is about to come true, but one last obstacle stands in our way: A water crossing so treacherous, it’s claimed more vehicles than the entire rest of the Old Telegraph Track combined: Nolans Brook.
And we tell you what: NOTHING GOES TO PLAN. With deep water standing between us and the finish line, disaster strikes: we drown one of our vintage mopeds in the middle of the crossing.
Is this the end of our journey, or can we bring the engine back to life to finally reach the very top of Australia?

We’re Bea & Helmut from Bavaria, and for more than a decade we’ve been exploring the world on two wheels - driven by curiosity and a love for adventure. For us, motorcycles aren’t just transportation, they’re a way to connect, see the world differently and grow along the way.
Back in 2011 we quit our jobs, sold everything we owned and set off to a motorcycle journey around the world. For over five years, the road was our home. We met incredible people, explored breathtaking places and realized that true happiness isn’t about having more - it’s about doing what matters and following what feels right.
Now, we’re taking on a new challenge: riding two 50-year-old, 50cc Kreidler Floretts across some of Australia’s toughest tracks - and beyond. Our motorcycles are our connection to people and the start of many great stories. Stories we can’t wait to share with you!
