Vaginal discharge with bad smell, irregular menstruation, pain abdomen, pain during intercourse are some of the typical symptoms of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID). It is a very common disease but sometimes very difficult to diagnose because of no symptoms. Late or missed diagnosis of the disease can be a cause of future infertility. It starts from vagina or cervix and gradually transmitted to the other reproductive organs, resulting in permanent damage. Treatment of PID is very easy if diagnosed in early stage. It is a recurrent disease and therefore needs attention.
