HOW TO MAKE A MERMAID TREASURE CHEST || DIY Treasure Chest for Under the Sea Parties and Special Events! Learn how to take a wooden craft store treasure chest and turn it into a magical masterpiece! This tutorial will teach you how to make a treasure chest that is perfect for any mermaid, pirate or under-the-sea themed party or event. This treasure chest can serve as a gift box for a birthday present, a wedding ring holder OR a tip jar for a professional mermaid!

As a professional mermaid myself, I use a treasure chest JUST like this (with different colors) as a tip jar OR I even use it to pass out goodies to kids at events. This is a very versatile craft project. You will find yourself using this mermaid treasure chest again and again for many different things!

Feel free to mix and match colors to create a design that fits your party's theme or matches the color of your mermaid tail.
