The Flood Forecasting Division (FFD) has issued a flood alert, predicting medium to high-level floods in the Jhelum, Chenab, and Kabul rivers from July 4-7. According to the FFD, the River Kabul at Nowshera is currently experiencing a medium flood level, while other major rivers are flowing below the low flood level. However, flows are expected to increase significantly in the nullahs of Rivers Ravi and Chenab catchments, along with hill torrents in the Dera Ghazi Khan Division during this period.

Moreover, urban flooding risks persist in several major cities, including Lahore, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Narowal, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Peshawar. Residents in these areas are urged to stay alert and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.
