Building a Serverless Application in AWS
Over the past few years, serverless architecture has become very popular. It has removed the burden of managing and operating infrastructure such as servers, storage, database, scalability, etc.
In this session, we will introduce some commonly used serverless services (e.g. APIGW, Lambda, DynamoDB), explain how they work, and then go through the code of a simple project that uses them. That's a great way to dive into the foundation of these services or get a refresher if you've used them.

Ali is the Platform Team Lead at Fergus and an AWS Community Builder. He has been in the industry for over 15 years, working across multiple verticals, including development, testing, architecture and team leadership. Ali writes blog posts covering various software engineering topics in his free time, mainly focusing on AWS Cloud. You can find him riding his bicycle around Auckland when it's sunny.
