In the evening, they sit down together to share a simple but heartfelt meal.This is a peaceful glimpse into rural mountain life, family values, and the quiet heroism of everyday survival.In a remote mountain village, Ivan and Maria have lived side by side for over 50 years. Along with their son Mykhailo, they care for three cows, twenty goats and sheep, chickens, pigs, and horses – all by hand, in the heart of winter.
We follow them through a single snow-filled day: feeding animals, hand-washing laundry in freezing temperatures, and climbing up the snowy mountain with horses to bring back hay.
On returning, they discover a newborn baby goat – a symbol of hope and new life.
