The Blockchain Industry is currently experiencing a significant epoch of Innovative Upgrades, with the "Merge" already kick- started yesterday, we are now anticipating the Cardano "Vasil" upgrade
Brief Retrospect on Cardano Development: Since the 2020's Byron reboot,Cardano has seen regular upgrades,enabling a community of over 3000 SPOs(stake pool operators) to create and support an industry-defininig decentralized proof-of-stake network.
Also in early 2021, Cardano also deployed the Mary upgrade which enabled user to create a variety of native assets to take and exchange on the ledger.More recently too,around September 2021, the Alonzo upgrade was also deployed which introduced smart contracts support into Cardano and evolved it into a fully-functional smart contract platform with a rich NFT ecosystem and multiple native tokens.Currently in the Cardano Blockchain there are over a 1000 projects building and the Vasil upgrade will provide key capabilities to further enable projects to launch as well as offer an upgrade path(this will bring greater speed, transactional capabilities and more powerful script) to existing DApps.
