Filmmaker Bradley Olsen shares a preview from his documentary about Final Cut Pro X, 'Off The Tracks.' In 2011 Apple unveiled a brand new version of Final Cut Pro at the Las Vegas SuperMeet. A few editors loved it, others were confused by it, and many decided to switch to other systems. Since that time Apple has continued to develop the application that they tout as the future of editing. With misinformation running amok, Bradley decided to make a documentary to address the question: Why did Apple make Final Cut Pro X?

Bradley Olsen is an independent filmmaker from Salt Lake City, Utah. He began his career as an assistant editor in the early 2000s. Since then he has done work for BBC Worldwide Productions, CW, Spike TV, SyFy, and The Hallmark Channel as a media manager, location editor, and DIT. Brad has edited 6 independent feature films using Final Cut Pro X. He recently completed his directorial debut, Off The Tracks, a documentary about Final Cut Pro X.
