A Touch of History:
Did you know that the word Snood comes from Old English "snud", and refers to a ribbon or fillet worn around a woman's head.
It dates back to medieval periods, as far back as the 5th century. They were revived in the 19th Century by Victorian women, and became fashionable again in the 1940s.
