Singaporean songwriter-singer and TEDxWomen performer Inch Chua spent 3 months and 22 days on the offshore island of Pulau Ubin to seek inspiration for new songs for her album. She found more than what she expected: Stories and spirit of what lies deep in the lore of Singapore and herself.

A multi-talented musician, singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, and recently, co-founder of Invasion SG, Inch Chua champions local, homegrown music. Inch Chua has performed at numerous international music festivals, and has opened for Katy Perry. From March to June 2015, Inch stayed in Pulau Ubin to work on her fifth solo album.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
