The Rip'D and the Rip'D Solid are the newest additions to the Hammer High Performance line. They both share the same Rip'D core and the Rip'D uses the Agression Hybrid CFI coverstock.

We had a had a great reaction with the Rip'D on our house shot pattern.

The Rip'D is clean through the front part of the lane, but the ball creates enough traction in the midlane to keep it from sliding past the breakpoint and once it hits the friction it provides a strong backend motion without being too angular or skid-flip.

We found the Rip'D to be more versatile than we thought. We were able to play from different angles and the ball always found a good line to the pocket.

We compared the Rip'D with the Rip'D Solid. The Rip'D Solid is stronger overall due to the box finish and the solid coverstock. The Rip'D Solid is earlier, smoother and has a slower response to friction than the Rip'D.

The Rip'D is a great complement to the Rip'D Solid. Once there is a hook spot and you need to open up the lane, the Rip'D will be the ball to go.

Overall, The Rip'D will be a great option for a different variety of bowlers. Low rev/speed dominant bowlers will enjoy the angle this ball creates while playing straighter and high rev bowlers will like the length and the shape this ball provides down the lane.
