ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Asheville Police were called to neighborhood west of the city, for an assault Monday morning. It happened at a home on Narbeth Road around 1 a.m.

Lt. Jamie Crawford says some things are still unclear, but there was a break-in and some things were taken from the home. She says one person was assaulted in the process.

Investigators are looking into how the victim and suspects may have know each other. We're told there may have been initial contact between them on the internet.
