The Hub with Wang Guan hosts a Webinar entitled "Democracy and Human Rights: Common Goals with Diversified Approaches" organized by the Permanent Mission of the People's Republic of China at the UN Office in Geneva and the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the UN Office in Geneva. Both ambassadors Li Song, Chinese Chargé d'affaires, and Gennady Gatilov, Russian Permanent Representative, underscore the importance of history, values and traditions in shaping indigenous models of democracy and human rights. Other panelists also pointed out that people-centered outcomes and the right to development with a long-term vision guarantee a real democracy and human rights.
