Life in Dubai | lunch date at Citywalk, coffee at Secret Garden, trying the viral Dubai chocolate

Here’s how I spent a week in Dubai as a resident recovering from leukemia:

To get away from my home-hospital routine, we went to Citywalk for weekend lunch. This is one of the places we love going to when we want to avoid the crowd.

We had pizza and pasta at L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele. It’s the Dubai branch of the pizza place that was featured in Eat Pray Love movie. Most dishes are at around AED 100, but there’s buy 1 get 1 free voucher on the Entertainer!

Then we took a little stroll until we reached Secret Garden, a lovely cafe with an indoor garden theme. Ed had affogato while I had iced matcha. This cafe is pricey, I guess we’re paying for the whole experience though.

We spent the rest of the week at home; reorganized the kitchen, watched House of the Dragon, went to the gym and tried the viral Dubai chocolate from Fix Chocolatier.
